Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion- I love love love this product so much! As soon as I feel a pimple coming up, I apply this solution at night and the pimple disappears by the next morning! The packaging of this product is not very good thought, it leaks and leaves a mass in the bathroom cabinet, but the product does it´s job. It lasts a long time too,  I've had the same bottle for almost 2 years now.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion - This is Mario Badescus bestseller and is used by a lot of celebs like Heidi Klum, Cameron Diaz, Mishca Barton and Jennifer Aniston. If there's a beauty product I cant be without, this lotion its one of them. Works on pimple like a charm, the results are miraculous! A pimple is gone in 2-day tops and there's not a single trace that it was there. Now I’m sure you are wondering what’s the difference between MB´s drying lotion and Buffering Lotion. The difference in my opinion is that the Buffering Lotion works best on blemishes under the skin surface and reduces inflammation before it can develop into an actual zit. The drying lotion however treat whiteheads and simply dries them out. My only real complaint is that the glass bottle. I dropped 1 or 2 bottle on the ceramic bathroom tile floor, NOT GOOD!! :D :) 

Mario Badescu Cellufirm Drops - This is a really good firming lotion for my oily skin! My skin usually looks really shiny just a few hours after cleansing and moisturizing. This product however keeps my skin non-shiny the whole day. During summer when we all need something lighter, I use it alone without moisturizer and it's perfect. The product spreads evenly and smoothly and absorbs in seconds. My skin feels smooth and looks radiant after using it. Another winner from MB! ;) :) Can you tell I´m a fan? :) 

Mene&Moy Glycolic Masque -  This is a clay based, deep cleansing chemical peel mask for home use   that refines skin texture.  It regulates sebum, cleans pores and have a citrus scent. I´s perfect for keeping pores clean between salon visits and also good for hyper pigmentation. Is so effective that it is excellent to use on the day before you want to look your best :) Soothes, cleanses and smooths the skin. I really like this product and see a big difference in pore size after using it. 

Milk made smoothing hand & cuticle buffer from Cake Beauty - This spa-quality formula exfoliates and nourishes your hands, nails and cuticles leaving your hands buffed, smooth and its great for your feet too! It smells like a warm vanilla with a hint of raspberry and contains sugar, milk protein, avocado and coconut oils among other things. Works for me better than ANY hand lotion including Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Hand Treatment. This miracle oil makes your hands feel like like a baby s face...almost :)

Cake Beauty It's a Slice Supremely Body Mousse - This delicious vitamin-packed moisturizer is a wonderful blend of sweet orange and creamy vanilla. It contains a lovely rich blend of pure coconut oil, mango butter, luxurious, nourishing macadamia oil and Aloe Vera. It is so nice! :)  It’s designed to nourish and protect your skin leaving it soft and smooth but never greasy. Love the fragrance and most importantly my man loves it and that’s really the point…right? ;) It doesn’t have a sophisticated scent and maybe not for a night out on the town, but its great for an ordinary day or night when you want to smell sweet, young and fresh. 

Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum - Antioxidant vitamin C protects skin from free radicals and is essential for collagen production. This Vitamin C serum containing 7.5% ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to help reduce discoloration and make your skin radiant. I have to say I really see and feel a difference in my skin. My skin tone is more even and I had a little sun spot that is almost non-visible now after using this product for about 2 month. 

Philip B Four Step Hair & Scalp Treatment - This treatment "a facial for the scalp" normalizes scalp circulation, cleans and refreshes the scalp and removes traces of hair and dead skin cells. This product is excellent! It is significantly superior to any other hair care product I've tried up to know. After I use it, my hair is shiny, silky, bouncy, and tangle-free. My hair also feels lighter while appearing to have more body. All I can say is WOW! Forbes Magazine called it one of "the top 100 things that are worth every penny." Philip B. just calls it his secret weapon. Love it!! 

Remember!!! Not everything is for everyone!!! These are my experiences and this product work for me right now. Don’t buy anything just based on my opinions especially facial skin care. Do some research before, read some other reviews and ask professionals. Most of this product are pricy and I don’t want you to waste your money on something that may not work for you. The best way to decide what beauty products to buy is to try them out firs if possible and to choose only products that is recommended for your skin type. You can get samples at the stores and even from web shops. I hope you are all satisfied :) if not just ask i I do my best to answer all your questions. 

Tilt-shift photography

Most of you who follow my blog know about my love for photography. I’m just a armature now but, eventually want to prefect my skills and take more professional pictures. Lately I have been fascinated with a photo technic called Tilt-Shift. Tilt-Shift lenses focus on a single part of the photo and blur the surrounding area to create an optical illusion of miniaturized scenery. Real tilt shift lenses are very expensive, but a similar effect can be achieved using Photoshop. I played around with Photoshop the other day and this is what I have came up with. My picture doesn’t look like miniature model of Hong Kong but I like this effect a lot because it really draws the attention to me and smudges out all the other random people around that I felt kind of ruined the picture before. I’m sure much better results can be achieved and more close to the actual Tilt-Shift effect if you have the patients and you think its worth the effort. My muse

I have been telling you about Kelly Bensimon before since she is kind of o role model and style icon for me. I just can't get enough of her! :) I love her hair, her jewelry line ( she is a jewelry designer among other things), her very heathy lifestyle, her positive energy and look at that dress! I want this dress!! :P She always looks effortlessly fabulous and has this very cool laid back, hippie chic LA style that I looove!!  :) 

For me this woman is a great source of inspiration and I think it’s important for everyone to find a style icon, a role model or more the one. Be inspired not just by fashion shows and designers but also by models, celebrities and even interesting people on the streets.When perfecting your personal style take inspiration from around you, movies, exhibitions, books, places and people that you you find fascinating and exciting. Having someone to look up too will help you to stay on the right track when it comes to style and help you to find your voice. And that´s my tip for the day!  :)

Here we go again

Sitting in the kitchen trying to figure out what to wear today. So difficult when you are not happy with your self, feels like you got nothing to wear.  I've put on some wait this summer, you know all the ice-cream and all that. I can still squeeze myself into a size 6 (36), but really I should be a size 4 (34) easy. Anyway I don’t like anything I have in the closet, and trust me there is noting wrong with my closet! ;) On Monday once again I start a strict and healthy lifestyle. Back to the gym, protein shakes and no more carbs!  It’s going to be hard at first as everything is, but I know that I will benefit from it on many levels. Discipline and structure is great for the self-esteem and I feel like I can use a challenge right now. Wish me luck! ;)

Baby X 2

A few days ago I told you about the two births in the family. Now I can show you the pictures of the two little miracles. Baby nr. 1 is my sister´s adorable little boy who was born a bit prematurely and is super cute and mini. Baby nr. 2 is my sisters-in-law`s bungle of joy who arrived one day later the actual due date. What a joy! :) I looking forward to take more pictures of them some time soon and hope to get more artistic freedom to do it my way :)
