Beautiful roses from Copenhagen

Today I’m surrounded by flowers. I feel the same way about flowers as I do about my bed linen, white is the best way to go. White is elegant, timeless and beautiful in its simplicity. Every now and then I crave color but in the end I always go back to white :)

A gray day once again. Feels like fall and I don’t like it at all! Hopefully the sun will come back really soon, after all we are still in the middle of summer … even if it doesn’t feels like it :) What to do on a day like this hmm... Anyway I hope the sun will shine on you wherever you are!  :)

Contemporary Oriental Lounge

This flat TV cabinet really sets the tone the feel that I want to create in our home. This practically style doesn’t have a name yet as far as I know. It is very close too Asian Fusion and/or a style called ”Casbah Moderna” but less bohemian and a bit more minimalistic chic like a contemporary boutique hotel. The style I’m going for is masculine, ethnic with sculptural elements. The colors are earthy like gray, beige, black and white with a lot of silver. The furniture are low with a lounge feel. The prints are abstract and graphic and the style also includes oriental elements. 

I think “Contemporary Oriental Lounge” dose describe this style quite good but it is too long :) Give me your thoughts on the subject I would love to know what you think!

Finally

After a hectic time I’m back and our apartment is finally finished. Here is a fresh image of the interior. Will of course post more images later! ;) :) In this picture you can se the style we are going for throughout the whole flat. Black and white, lots of silver, little bit of Asia and a whole lot of chic hotel feeling. What do you think?
