Mondays

Sitting on the floor flipping through books and magazines and trying to motivate my self to get up and do something sensible. I actually have tons to do, I just don’t want to do it. I hate Mondays!!!!! I feeling very low on energy again and just want to go to bed and don’t wake up until Tuesday afternoon. Blaaaaah!!!!!Tomorrow I get my shit together and do everything I was supposed to do today. It's gonna be a busy day! 


Ps.  Just wandering….. are you guys interested in reading this kind of, honest and straight posts or prefer things to be sugar coated. I make post like this sometimes not to bring you down but to let you know that nobody has only fantastic days, we all have shitty days no matter how pretty, rich or successful. People are not programed to be happy all the time, unless they are on something :D

Sea breeze

Took an amazing, refreshing walk on the beach with my parents the other day. Here in Sweden we are very lucky and enjoying some kind of Indian summer. Temperatures this high in this time of the year are quite unusual. Tomorrow if the weather forecast is right we can expect another lovely sunny day. So the question is what to do with a beautiful day like that?

In the misty woods

A few pictures from the other day. Lately I have a unusually need to be out in nature. I lose myself in the colors, the sounds and smells. Nature has excellent life force energy, it helps me to restore my batteries, to focus, to reduce stress and improve my ever changing mood. I live in the city and although it’s nice to take a walk in the park, it’s not the same as walking in the misty dark woods. There is something primitive and organic about the woods, It’s a place where I can be quiet in silence and actually hear the voice of reason and purpose. I should do this more often!!

The things I love about autumn

·      Crisp misty mornings where you can see your breath and your cheeks get rosy.

·      Indian Summer. The last gasp of summer heat, those few sunny days in late September or if we’re lucky, early October.

·      Foggy days

·      Autumn colours, coppers and rusty golds.

·      Swishing through the colorful, fallen leaves.

·      Quiet candlelight dinners with friends

·      Reading mystery novels curled up on the couch with my favorite blanket, a great cop of tea and some delicious chocolates. 

·      Scented Candles

·      Rainy stormy days

·      Roasts, Potatoes & Carrots


·      Windy days –that blow through leaves and whip my hair into a crazed tear.

·      A fluffy warm bed on a cold night

·      Watching movies snuggled in soft blankets drinking hot coco with whipped cream and marshmallows.

·      The smell of an apple pie in the oven.

Beautiful Septmber

Just got back from the gym and boy was it tuff, I feel exhausted.  Have a busy day today, needs tons of energy! I better make a protein shake to "wake me up" and to keep me full until lunch. Ok, got to go! :) Leaves you with some nice autumn pictures from the other day.

Tilt-shift photography

Most of you who follow my blog know about my love for photography. I’m just a armature now but, eventually want to prefect my skills and take more professional pictures. Lately I have been fascinated with a photo technic called Tilt-Shift. Tilt-Shift lenses focus on a single part of the photo and blur the surrounding area to create an optical illusion of miniaturized scenery. Real tilt shift lenses are very expensive, but a similar effect can be achieved using Photoshop. I played around with Photoshop the other day and this is what I have came up with. My picture doesn’t look like miniature model of Hong Kong but I like this effect a lot because it really draws the attention to me and smudges out all the other random people around that I felt kind of ruined the picture before. I’m sure much better results can be achieved and more close to the actual Tilt-Shift effect if you have the patients and you think its worth the effort. Baby X 2

A few days ago I told you about the two births in the family. Now I can show you the pictures of the two little miracles. Baby nr. 1 is my sister´s adorable little boy who was born a bit prematurely and is super cute and mini. Baby nr. 2 is my sisters-in-law`s bungle of joy who arrived one day later the actual due date. What a joy! :) I looking forward to take more pictures of them some time soon and hope to get more artistic freedom to do it my way :)

How Adorable is this book?

I have a huuuge sweet tooth! :) I love everything sweet, pancakes, ice-cream, cookies, chocolate and I adore beautiful cupcakes! I also love to bake, so guess If I was happy to find this lovely little cake book. Great recipes beautiful pictures and most impotently really good step by step instructions on how to decorate your creations. If you are interested, you can get this book here. I already find My favorite cookie ;) :)

Puppy wants a Murberry

This is sadly not my but the neighbors dog. I’m so in love with this little puppy! :) She is so smart and affectionate. I really want one, the only thing that’s stopping me is the fact that I love to travel and stay away for longer periods of time. But this little girl is making me wander…Isn’t she cute? :D

The Royal Treatment

Got my hair done! Going to the hairdresser is a much nicer experience when treated to some white wine and chocolate :) ;P I will post some pictures of the apartment next time, as some of you have requested it. We are not compactly finished yet, but it is coming together nicely.

Sick

Not feeling well today, sore throat, runny nose. I may have the flu. Today I'm loading up on antioxidants and take it easy, hopefully I'm feeling better tomorrow. Do not want to spend my weekand in bed!!
