Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion- I love love love this product so much! As soon as I feel a pimple coming up, I apply this solution at night and the pimple disappears by the next morning! The packaging of this product is not very good thought, it leaks and leaves a mass in the bathroom cabinet, but the product does it´s job. It lasts a long time too,  I've had the same bottle for almost 2 years now.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion - This is Mario Badescus bestseller and is used by a lot of celebs like Heidi Klum, Cameron Diaz, Mishca Barton and Jennifer Aniston. If there's a beauty product I cant be without, this lotion its one of them. Works on pimple like a charm, the results are miraculous! A pimple is gone in 2-day tops and there's not a single trace that it was there. Now I’m sure you are wondering what’s the difference between MB´s drying lotion and Buffering Lotion. The difference in my opinion is that the Buffering Lotion works best on blemishes under the skin surface and reduces inflammation before it can develop into an actual zit. The drying lotion however treat whiteheads and simply dries them out. My only real complaint is that the glass bottle. I dropped 1 or 2 bottle on the ceramic bathroom tile floor, NOT GOOD!! :D :) 

Mario Badescu Cellufirm Drops - This is a really good firming lotion for my oily skin! My skin usually looks really shiny just a few hours after cleansing and moisturizing. This product however keeps my skin non-shiny the whole day. During summer when we all need something lighter, I use it alone without moisturizer and it's perfect. The product spreads evenly and smoothly and absorbs in seconds. My skin feels smooth and looks radiant after using it. Another winner from MB! ;) :) Can you tell I´m a fan? :) 

Mene&Moy Glycolic Masque -  This is a clay based, deep cleansing chemical peel mask for home use   that refines skin texture.  It regulates sebum, cleans pores and have a citrus scent. I´s perfect for keeping pores clean between salon visits and also good for hyper pigmentation. Is so effective that it is excellent to use on the day before you want to look your best :) Soothes, cleanses and smooths the skin. I really like this product and see a big difference in pore size after using it. 

Milk made smoothing hand & cuticle buffer from Cake Beauty - This spa-quality formula exfoliates and nourishes your hands, nails and cuticles leaving your hands buffed, smooth and its great for your feet too! It smells like a warm vanilla with a hint of raspberry and contains sugar, milk protein, avocado and coconut oils among other things. Works for me better than ANY hand lotion including Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Hand Treatment. This miracle oil makes your hands feel like like a baby s face...almost :)

Cake Beauty It's a Slice Supremely Body Mousse - This delicious vitamin-packed moisturizer is a wonderful blend of sweet orange and creamy vanilla. It contains a lovely rich blend of pure coconut oil, mango butter, luxurious, nourishing macadamia oil and Aloe Vera. It is so nice! :)  It’s designed to nourish and protect your skin leaving it soft and smooth but never greasy. Love the fragrance and most importantly my man loves it and that’s really the point…right? ;) It doesn’t have a sophisticated scent and maybe not for a night out on the town, but its great for an ordinary day or night when you want to smell sweet, young and fresh. 

Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum - Antioxidant vitamin C protects skin from free radicals and is essential for collagen production. This Vitamin C serum containing 7.5% ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to help reduce discoloration and make your skin radiant. I have to say I really see and feel a difference in my skin. My skin tone is more even and I had a little sun spot that is almost non-visible now after using this product for about 2 month. 

Philip B Four Step Hair & Scalp Treatment - This treatment "a facial for the scalp" normalizes scalp circulation, cleans and refreshes the scalp and removes traces of hair and dead skin cells. This product is excellent! It is significantly superior to any other hair care product I've tried up to know. After I use it, my hair is shiny, silky, bouncy, and tangle-free. My hair also feels lighter while appearing to have more body. All I can say is WOW! Forbes Magazine called it one of "the top 100 things that are worth every penny." Philip B. just calls it his secret weapon. Love it!! 

Remember!!! Not everything is for everyone!!! These are my experiences and this product work for me right now. Don’t buy anything just based on my opinions especially facial skin care. Do some research before, read some other reviews and ask professionals. Most of this product are pricy and I don’t want you to waste your money on something that may not work for you. The best way to decide what beauty products to buy is to try them out firs if possible and to choose only products that is recommended for your skin type. You can get samples at the stores and even from web shops. I hope you are all satisfied :) if not just ask i I do my best to answer all your questions. 

Mini spa day at home

Not in a good mood today. Frustrated and bored! I seem to have a problem doing the same thing day-after-day and hate routines, except when it comes to working out. Anything else that resembles a chore is making me crazy after a while. I know, I’m difficult but it's not really my choice it's my nature.  I need the unexpected and the extraordinary to feel alive and happy. Anyway I going to have a mini spa right here at home, hopping that it will change my mood for the better.  Today I am also satring with omega 3 fish oil hoping that it will raise my serotonin levels ;) :D

I ordered some products from Elven.se and got my package today. Mene&Moy Glycolic Masque and Mario Badescu Cellufirm Drops. Mario Badescu Cellufirm Drops I’m familiar with and love, but the Glycolic Masque is new to me and I’m very curious about it! I also got some samples in my package ( Eleven.se is always very generous with that J ) and I’m going to try Dr Brandt’s Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner right now!


By the way, I would really appreciate it if any of you could recommend a really good eye cream. Im still looking for the ONE !  J

In our bathroom right now

I love to see what other people have in their showers and bathrooms! I don’t know why I find it so interesting. Anyway here is a peek into my. Nothing fascinating just some random products that I/we use right now. 

I do want to highlight one product that I absolutely adore.  Barbie by Cake "Sugar Coated" Brown Sugar Body Scrub is the shit! I never in my life used a better body scrub!  It contains vitamin-rich oils and leave your skin feeling soft and virtually glowing. My bathroom smell like a bakery after I used this and it dissolves easily and doesn’t leave a sticky mess.

Today I'm Loving

My skin is drier in certain areas like on my elbows and knees and normal on my arms and legs. The Body Shop Body Butter Duo contains a formula for dry skin on one side and one for normal skin on the other. This way you don’t have to use a rich body butter on your skin where it not needed. I think it’s a cool idea! As usual this product is available in yummy scents! :)

Open-Toe Season

Yesterday my cousin who is a licensed medical pedicure technician was here and gave me a beautiful pedicure. Such a treat to have it done in the comfort of my own home, listening to lounge music, drinking G&T…only me though. Wouldn’t want her being tipsy while handling sharp scalpels :D Anyway it was nice to catch up and the I’m loving my pretty feet :) I don’t really have any problems with my feet so I usually go for a regular pedicure, but 2-3 times a year it is nice to have a proper medical pedicure also known as a “medicure” which the feet and toenails undergo extensive cleaning. I do recommend everyone to make foot care an ongoing ritual. Make sure that you only visit a licensed pedicure technician who really understands about proper sterilization techniques that needs to be used on the pedicure equipment. If you don’t have the time or budget for professional pampering, you can come pretty close to a salon pedicure with the proper tools and techniques. I hope I gave you some motivation to step up your foot care regimen now when open-toe shoe season in full swing.

I'm Loving Right Now

Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo is quick and convenient in between shampoo but I also use it as a volume booster. 

PRTTY PEAUSHUN Skin Tight Body Lotion Created by Celebrity Makeup Artist, Bethany Karlyn. Prtty peaushun makes your skin tighten and glow. Great stuff. I like ;)

Murad - Exfoliating fruit enzyme mask. Easily and gently dissolve away dead surface cells, revealing newer, more radiant skin. So far I really like this product, my skin feels clean and smooth. Enzyme masks helps me keep my pores clean better than any clay or mud mask and don’t irritate my skin like a scrub. Have to mention though that this particular one I only used 2 times, so I can’t give you the scoop on the long term results.

Procle Lip Balm Volume Booster gives sexy, full lips with shimmering sheen. Burns and tingles a lot but only for a short while though. I will do anything in the name of beauty...almost :)

Vitamin C Serum- Mario Badescu- Helps lighten your skin. It also reduces discoloration. I give this products the thumbs up! :) Vitamin C prevents and even reverses ageing. It also helps to prevent sun damage and treats sun damaged skin.  


BIOTHERM- Sun Vivo Solar Protection DNA Genes SPF15 UVA/UVB- A lightweight, anti-aging protective cream for the face. Use it every day rain or shine.

Clarins - Hand & Nail Treatment Cream - Helps to make your hands soft, minimize age spots and make your nails stronger.  My favorite is still Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment but I really like this product as well because its a multi product and also great for my nails.

TIGI S-Factor Shiny Happy People Shine Spray - A really good shine spray and I adore its wonderful scent!  Gives my hair long-lasting supershine. LOVE IT! 

FarmaVita Essential Oil vials -  Gives me strong, shiny hair and lots of volume. Makes my hair smell like I just stepped out of a hair saloon and I like that :)

Currently in my makeup bag

As a base I have been using Sheer Cover for years now and I love it!! Sheer Cover blends with your skin's natural oils and feels more like a liquid foundation. This lightweight mineral powder gives your skin a naturally and smooth appearance and allows the skin to breathe. In addition it deflects light away from flaws as discoloration or redness and gives your skin a beautiful luster.

Right now I like MAKE UP STORE’s eye shadows and usually pick different shades of mauve, lilac and brown as I think it goes well with my dark eyes. I’m not a lipstick person, I normally use only lip-gloss, but if I do I go for more light colors as it gives an illusion of bigger lips.

Allure

Working as a Visual Merchandiser is not always as glamorous as one would think. Lately I have been working very hard and feel that my hands needs some extra attention. I bought a promising cuticle oil from O.P.I, recommended by Allure Magazine and tonight I think I even lavish on Elizabeths Arden´s Eight Hour Hand Treatment and put on a pair of cotton gloves, when I go to bed. Hopefully my hands will be as new by morning.
